Turtley Awesome

turtley awesome

Hey friends……back again today with one last card. How cute is this stamp????? and the sentiment is included from Stampers Best. (go, go, go get your own, they even make a donation to OWH when you purchase).

Entering this little baby in the challenge at Operation Write Home. The challenge is a sketch and if I must say I took real liberties because I cut the strings too short and his feet don’t touch the bottom of the card. Smile

Oh well…some little guy will enjoy receiving this from his/her mom or dad that is on deployment in some foreign country far from his/her birthday party.

Background is Core’dinations Black Magic run through Pinking Stitch folder. Green panel is again Core’dinations Vintage Collection embossed with Scor-Pal and Scor-Bug. Both panels were sanded to let the color core come through.
Panels die cut with Large and Small Circles. Turtle and Balloons were colored and fussy cut and popped up with foam adhesive. Glossy Accents added to his eyes.

As always, Thanks for Stamping by…..

I like when people take liberties with the sketches-- I love what you did! The balloons look real- did you glossy accent them too? and I love the strings anchored to hus tail! The sanded embossing adds nice texture and interest and the turtle- you did an amazing job on that sweet guy!

Penny, this is adorable! Great job with coloring this sweet little turtle. And I love the glossy touch on the balloons, so realistic! You did a great job making the sketch your own.
