Embellishing saved the day. Tomorrow is the wedding and the card I had made for the lucky couple was sitting on a shelf above my desk. It fell off and landed on an open ink pad. I said a few bad words.

Made some tiny roses to cover up the mistake, and liked them so well I remade the 3 larger roses in yellow also. (The brides colors are yellow and light pink). I like the remade card better.
Moral of the story... embellishing can save the day....sometimes!

Gorgeous card Penny :-) I love the colours and all the details, so pretty, the flowers and butterfly are beautiful :-)
That happened to me a few days ago, got ink in the wrong place on a CAS card ! I managed to cover with washi tape and think it looked better in the end ,, happy mistakes eh :-)
