Let's Pay it Forward

I have the honor of being nominated for a Blog award from my crafty cyber friend Chris. 

I was totally shocked and elated by this wonderful surprise. Thank you soooo much!

 Yay me!!!!

This award is all about getting to know new crafty friends and perusing their blogs for new ideas and to get your mojo into high gear.

Part of the process is to answer a few questions about yourself, then to select a few blogs I visit and nominate them (thus ...... paying it forward ).

So, here is the part about little old me:

1. Tell me your favorite three supplies you use most?

Memento Luxe Inks, Ebosser, Imagine Crafts Mat (no scrapper/card maker should be without one...they don't stain...just wipe with a baby wipe!  LOVE!!!!)

2.   How long have you been making cards?

4 years

3.   What do you do with all the cards you make?

Give to friends, family and Operation Write Home

4.  What is your favorite technique to use when making cards?

die cutting, stamping

5. What are your favorite color combo's to use?

Lime/Navy & anything Teal

6. How long and what inspired you to start blogging?

My first purchase was a Penny Black stamp about 4 years ago. Googled the company name to find more cute stamps, and oh, they have a blog. Fell in love with designers Elizabeth Allan and Jill Foster. Learned so much from them, that I decided to give it a try. ( I asked Elizabeth for advise on getting cards published in magazines...and my Artist Resume is over 40 cards now...Thanks Miss E.). I was also asked by Penny Black Inc. to be a part of their Inaugural Stamp Squad in 2013 with four other talented artists....Highlight of my card making life!

7. How does your family handle your craftiness?  Do they approve?

My boys are grown but when they visit they know they will find me in my lab (their word for my studio). Husband just wants me to be happy...love him!
