Hello and happy Friday....
While I was cruzin' the blogs this past week, I ran across a little beauty on Heather Telford's site.
I just had to give it a try!
I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.
When I do this technique again, I will leave a few more lighter spots on the watercolor paper. :)
After I die cut the flowers, I then die cut several more from dark blue cardstock, stacked and adhered them together, leaving the watercolor die cut for the top layer.
For the gold on the watercolor paper as well as the gold mat, I used a Delicata Golden Glitz reinker, just as if it was watercolors. Look at that shine.
Who says you have to buy a separate product to achieve that wonderful glitz?!?
I am entering this into the challenge at CASology, because white space does not have to be white. :)
Challenges Entered:
CASology - Spring
Let's go Shopping:
Memory Box: Lenore die cut
Penny Black: Flutters die cut
Sakura Koi Watercolors
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko: Delicata Golden Glitz reinker
