Hello, hello....
So a few weeks ago I am watching a video by Shari Carroll for Simon Says Stamp.
She is creating a home decor item that is right up my alley.
Yep, I just had to CASE her project:
Now granted, her project is smaller and the colors are softer, but how fun that she and I have the same color scheme in our homes!?!
I used an 11 x 14 canvas.
Mixed Teal and White paints to match my Audrey Blue card stock flower.
I also added some Teal paint to Whipped Spackle to do a little stenciling.
Dark and Light Gray card stocks for the smaller flowers.
Vellum for the flowers on the paintbrush.
eBrushed the butterfly with Copic markers and added some beads to hat pins for her antenna.
Silver glitter and Micro beads were added around the flowers, just as Shari showed in the video.
"happiness" was cut with Silhouette Cameo, as was the paisley I used for a stencil.
Bottom right has been stamped with Delicata Shimmery Silver ink...LOVE!
My husband and I love to repurpose things.
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but we enjoy it. What you are looking at is a spring from a baby crib.
Spray painted white, hung on wall, then I can change items I hang on it anytime I want.
Mason jars with a sprig of wildflowers (thinking I should paint the other two jars).
A picture of my family
&
My new Shari Carroll project.
I know that imitation is a form of flattery...
Hope Shari likes it.
