I stamped the large striped background...UGH!
(just use striped paper)
Die cut a White stitched oval and stamp the sentiment from the Girlfriend stamp set.
Itty bitty roses are diecuts, then a bit of Lime string for the leaves.
Finished the card with the Sistahood Sparkle sequins mix.
Now for my story...
I had a Mammogram in July 2013.
Found a lump in October 2013
You do realize that was only 3 months!!!!!
Cancer can grow and spread sooooo fast.
Make sure to check yourself EVERY month...how about today?!?
Double Mastectomy (because hey, I am not looking to do all this incert bad word again).
Six rounds of chemo.
1 year of Herceptin treatments every three weeks.
Yes I went bald (temporary thing).
Yes I learned to live for the moment.
Yes I learned to appreciate all I have.
Yes, cancer has changed me forever...in a good way!
&
No...It was no picnic and definitely not for sissies!
